In the Rheingau, the long-distance cycle route R3 runs from Flörsheim am Main to Kaub am Rhein, always varied through the vineyard landscape, along the edge of the Taunus slopes on the Main and Rhine. (65 km in total). In Eltville am Rhein you have the choice: along the Rhine, always with the shipping traffic in view, or via the R3a with slight inclines through the vineyards past Vollrads Castle and Eberbach Monastery.
