Modernization of the Railroad Line on the Right Bank of the Rhine—Rüdesheim Remains Easily Accessible

Travel by train along the left bank of the Rhine to Bingen, then take the ferry across to Rüdesheim am Rhein. This way, you can enjoy views of the vineyards, the Rhine, and the romantic Rhine Valley panorama even as you make your way there.).

Technical Malfunction on the Assmannshausen Chairlift

The chairlift is currently out of service due to a technical malfunction. You can walk from the Niederwald Monument to the Niederwald Hunting Lodge. From there, the trail to Assmannshausen is signposted. The sightseeing boats in Assmannshausen are operating as usual back to Rüdesheim. Tickets for the boat and the cable car can be purchased separately. For the Romantic Tour, the total price is lower than if you were to purchase separate tickets for the cable car, the boat, and admission to Rheinstein Castle.
