Three former monasteries (Eberbach, Johannisberg and Marienhausen) and three living monasteries (Marienthal, Nothgottes and St. Hildegard) are located along the Rheingau Monastery Trail. Pilgrims can divide the route (30 km) into four parts, each of which begins and ends at a station.
