Pilgrimage means: to pray with your feet. Pilgrims can experience what this means on a tour along the entire route of the Rheingau Monastery Trail. Along the way, they will get to know all six (former) monasteries: Eberbach, Johannisberg, Marienthal, Nothgottes, St. Hildegard, and Marienhausen (Aulhausen). The tour is led by pilgrimage guide Wolfgang Blum. Those who want to join must have the stamina for 30 kilometers with a total elevation gain of 840 meters. The price includes food and drinks, bus transfer, pilgrimage pass, and a certificate.
