Rüdesheim EYE - a giant (wheel) success!
It's coming back!
From September 19 to November 1, 2025, the “Rüdesheim Eye” will again be at the harbor park – a nearly 50-meter high giant wheel of the new generation.
The experience-rich visitor magnet will be gastronomically complemented by a small beer garden serving drinks and various dishes, located nearby on the meadow at the chestnut alley.
Beautiful perspectives: Perfect for high-flyers and height enthusiasts. The giant wheel comes from the operating company “Kipp Skyevents” based in Bonn. With a height of 48 meters and 36 closed and modernly designed gondolas, the wheel can accommodate up to 216 people for a ride.
Thanks to its fully glassed panoramic cabins, unforgettable views of Bingen and Rüdesheim as well as the sights of the surrounding area up to the World Heritage Valley are promised.
The giant wheel is aware of its ecological responsibility, calculates the CO2 emissions of its giant wheels every year, and has been using voluntary CO2 compensation since 2020 to support high-quality and recognized climate protection projects according to the renowned “Gold Standard.”
Giant wheel opening hours:
Sunday to Thursday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
