Three former monasteries (Eberbach, Johannisberg and Marienhausen) and three living monasteries (Marienthal, Nothgottes and St. Hildegard) are located along the Rheingau Monastery Trail. Pilgrims can divide the trail (30 km) into four sections, each of which begins and ends at a station.
