How does it work with vouchers from Groupon or Travelzoo?
Using your voucher is very simple:
- No call is necessary …
- Just come with your printed voucher to our boat landing,
- there you hand in your voucher when boarding and then enjoy the boat trip.
Do I have to print the voucher?
YES! You must bring the printed voucher and hand it in when boarding. Scanning from your mobile phone is not possible on board.
Do I have to or can I make a reservation?
For regular boat trips, a reservation is only required for 20 persons or more. For events, registration via email is required.
Are there other dates besides those on the internet?
The specified dates are always updated promptly and new dates are always added. As soon as dates are fixed, they will be announced on our page.
Where does the ship depart from? Can I also board in other towns?
For the Lorelei round trip, the voucher is only valid from Assmannshausen, and no other boarding is possible.
Can I bring additional persons?
Yes, you can purchase additional tickets directly on the ship. Children aged 4-13 pay half of the regular fare.
Do you have general questions?
Wheelchairs and walkers: Can I also accept this offer as a person with limited mobility?
Of course!
We are happy to assist with boarding and disembarking. However, we do not have an elevator or separate disabled toilets on board. The regular toilets are at ground level.
Does the boat trip take place in any weather?
Yes.
Can I bring a dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome on the scheduled boat trips. The dog ticket costs €1.00, which you can purchase upon boarding.
Is there something to drink and/or eat on board?
Yes, our boats are equipped with complete gastronomy.
Can you consume food and drink brought from home on board?
Since our ships offer complete gastronomy, consuming homemade food and drinks in the restaurant area is not fair and not allowed! The interior of the ship is completely a restaurant area. On the sun decks, you may consume your own food, but you must take your trash with you.
Where can I park?
Near the boat landing, you will find sufficient parking facilities (fee required).
How can I pay on the ship?
Only cash payment is possible with us.
No EC & credit card payments; ATMs can be found near the boat landing.
Strollers?
Yes, you are welcome to bring strollers. They are transported free of charge, and children up to and including 4 years travel for free on a scheduled boat trip.

Our Onboard Services
A rich selection of beverages (including Rheingauer wine, Rheingauer sparkling wine, Rüdesheimer coffee, ...) as well as snacks, pastries, and souvenirs is available in our onboard restaurant. Central heating makes the trip an experience even in cool and inclement weather. A public address system provides information about the journey.
For the safety of our passengers, all ships are equipped with radar, radio, and telephone.
