Diverse hiking tour through the Rheingau region

The Ring Tour is a circular route of a very special kind, combining a leisurely hike with boat, cable car, and chairlift rides. Besides various attractions such as the Niederwald Hunting Lodge and the Rossel Ruins, the approximately three to four hour tour takes you past vineyards and through cool forests. Where you choose to start the exciting circular route is up to you, for example, with the cable car from Rüdesheim to the Niederwalddenkmal and from there on foot to the chairlift that leads down to Assmanshausen. In the red wine community in the Rheingau-Taunus district, you will find numerous places to stop for a little break in between. Returning to Rüdesheim is then completely relaxed by boat.

PLEASE NOTE: The chairlift in Assmanshausen is currently out of service. You can walk from the Niederwalddenkmal to the Niederwald Hunting Lodge. From there, the footpath to Assmanshausen is signposted. The excursion boats in Assmanshausen are operating as usual back to Rüdesheim. Plan-A Circular Tour
