Time for Music and Wine – Between Heaven and Rhine

Cantemus Rheingau invites you to a concert on September 21st at 5 PM in the Brennhalle in Rüdesheim

As summer in the Rheingau comes to an end, the grape harvest begins, and the first leaves silently fall from the tall treetops, it is once again time for music and wine.

The fourth edition of the special concert format by Cantemus Rheingau! is titled "Between Heaven and Rhine" and takes place in the former Brennhalle on Asbachgasse in Rüdesheim – a location that, with its lofty gallery and impressive industrial charm, provides the perfect backdrop for this musical evening.

The program includes English and German choral pieces, some of which are poetic, that present the Rhine in a new light and interpret Rhine romanticism in a contemporary way. The selection is complemented by classical and romantic works that allow the special atmosphere of the cultural landscape between Rüdesheim and Koblenz – the upper Middle Rhine Valley, designated a UNESCO World Heritage site – to be experienced sonically.

To fully immerse the guests in the world between heaven and the Rhine, a wine tasting featuring selected wines from the region, as well as culinary delicacies, awaits between the musical performances.

Afterward, Cantemus Rheingau! invites its guests to linger with wine service and snacks.
