Das Rebenhaus
The Rebenhaus am Niederwald - Inn & Holiday Apartments high above the vineyards
Welcome! The Rebenhaus has always been one of the most beautiful excursion destinations in the Rheingau. From the covered terrace adorned with vines, it offers its guests a unique view over the Rhine Valley.
If you can't get enough of the view from the restaurant terrace, you will also feel at home in our new holiday apartments. Away from the hustle and bustle, you can enjoy the Rhine Valley and nature here.
A perfect place to relax and an ideal starting point for exploring the cultural landscape of Rheingau with its vineyards, forests, monasteries, and castles.
Location
The Niederwalddenkmal in Rüdesheim am Rhein attracts around 1.8 million visitors from Germany and around the world each year. It is the most visited monument in Hesse. Located at the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, the monument and its surroundings (the Osteinsche Park) have been beautified in recent years through extensive restoration and modernization work.
Many visitors reach the monument via the cable car from Rüdesheim am Rhein. Immediately before entering the mountain station, guests of the cable car enjoy a direct view of the Rebenhaus.
If you want to walk down through the vineyards to Rüdesheim after visiting the monument, you will pass right by the entrance of the Rebenhaus. A staircase leads from the temple to the vineyard paths.
The famous and well-promoted Rheinsteig is an established hiking trail between Wiesbaden and Bonn. It passes directly by the Rebenhaus. Hikers can see the building with its large terrace while walking through the vineyards, and can take the stairs towards the temple.

The access to the Rebenhaus is not recommended for lowered vehicles, but it is not a big problem for "normal" cars. It can be accessed either via two routes through the vineyards (1 km from the road) or via a private, paved access road that begins left of the Niederwald parking lot and is equipped with a barrier.
Our property is located in the vineyard. Those without much luggage might do best to park at the Niederwald monument parking lot (4 euros/day).
Each studio has a parking space available for your car on our property.
Your studio is available to you on the arrival day from 2 PM and on the departure day until 11 AM.
Note: the Rebenhaus is located on the Niederwald in Rüdesheim, not in Assmannshausen on Niederwaldstraße! This may be incorrectly displayed on Google Maps!
