Eibingen Wine Walk

"Walking & tasting" with a view of the magnificent landscape of the Rheingau and the Rhine offers a 5 km long hike with wine tastings in the Eibinger vineyards. Get to know the participating winemakers personally along the hiking route and inform yourself about the work in the vineyard and cellar. With the purchasable hiking pass, a quality wine can be tasted at each wine stand. The Eibinger wine glass is included for free.

Hiking passes will also be available in advance at the Tourist Info: Rheinstraße 29 a in Rüdesheim, Phone: 06722-90615-0, or on the day of the event at every stand in the Eibinger vineyards.
The Winzerexpress will take you to the starting point of the wine hike
At 12:00 PM, the Rüdesheim Winzerexpress departs from the marketplace and stops approximately every 10 minutes at the following stations: Train Station, Weinhaus Fendel, Kloster St. Hildegard.

During the hike, get to know the individual vintners of Rüdesheim and Eibingen, hear from them about their work in the vineyard and cellar, and enjoy the magnificent landscape with a view over the Rheingau to the opposite bank of the Rhine.
The participation in the Eibingen wine hike is free of charge. Fees for wines, sparkling wines, and non-alcoholic beverages can be found at the stands of the respective vintners.
Benefit from the wine pass, receive a selected wine for free at each stand.

Shuttle service
At 12:00 PM, the Rüdesheim vintner express departs from the marketplace in Rüdesheim and stops approximately every 10 minutes at the following stations

12:20 PM: Wine House Fendel, Eibingen (near stand 1 at the Eibingen market)
12:30 PM: Kloster St. Hildgard (stand 10)
Hiking route
The hiking route is about 5 km long and leads slightly uphill past 10 stations from the Eibingen market to the height of the Hildegard monastery (Abbey St. Hildegard) above Eibingen.
At each stand, wine pass holders are entitled to a glass of 0.1l wine from the cellar of the respective vintner. More information on this can be found further down under "The wine pass".
As always, top-quality wines or sparkling wines will be offered, as well as small meals at most stations.
